EHSD Volunteer and Emergency Services Program in collaboration with Volunteer and Emergency Services Team in Action (Vestia, Inc.), a non-profit corporation composed completely of volunteers, raises money and obtains donated goods and services to provide supplemental support to EHSD clients when no other resources are available.

Programs include: Ready-to-Work Cothes Closet with multiple county locations to provide business and interview attire; Attitude and Image Employment Seminars and Workshops; Project Ready-to-Learn provides backpacks and school supplies to low income children and youth; Angel Tree and Toys for Tots provides holiday gifts to low income and foster youth; College Education Scholarships and Computers; Food Bank and holiday assistance; Cultural Outreach Program provides special events tickets to foster children and caregivers; Campership Program; and, Season of Sharing provides funding for emergency housing and critical assistance services. Donations also may include furniture, layettes, transportation, medical care and mentoring services.
