Welcome to the Contra Costa County Community Services Bureau website.

Since 1965, CSB have been providing high-quality services to Contra Costa County families and children from comprehensive Head Start and state licensed childcare, ages 0-5, to energy assistance and community action. In the last year, CSB provided childcare for more than 3,000 children, energy assistance for more than 4,500 households, and funding for numerous non-profit community organizations. CSB takes a holistic approach to childcare, providing not only high quality educational care, but also physical health, nutritional, mental health, disabilities and school readiness services to the families we serve.
